Manchester City Football Club, also known as Man City or simply City, is a professional football club based in Manchester, England. The club was founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton) and played in the Football Alliance before becoming a founder member of the Football League in 1888. Since then, the club has gone on to win numerous trophies, including four Premier League titles, five FA Cups, and six Football League Cups.
